How to instruct us
Clear scoping. Compliant public-sector onboarding.
Public bodies require external advisory support that can be mobilised quickly whilst satisfying internal governance, standing orders, and statutory procurement thresholds. We structure every instruction around clear deliverables, fixed or capped fee stages, and straightforward finance onboarding.
- 01
Initial scoping discussion
We begin with a confidential discussion with the Monitoring Officer, General Counsel, Head of Service, or Senior Responsible Officer to define the legal, operational, and governance parameters of the issue and confirm conflict clearance. The discussion carries no obligation.
- 02
Written proposal & fee structure
Within 48 hours of scoping, we provide a structured written proposal setting out the defined deliverables, timetable, key milestones, and a transparent fee basis (fixed-fee per stage, capped day-rate, or retainer) designed to attach directly to your internal decision record or procurement waiver/award report.
- 03
Procurement & vendor onboarding
We support your authority’s procurement and supplier-onboarding requirements. The appropriate route to instruction depends on the nature and estimated value of the services, any applicable exemption, and your Contract Procedure Rules. Where Part 6 of the Procurement Act 2023 applies, we provide the information needed to support the authority’s procedures.
- 04
Delivery & governance assurance
Advisory reports, statutory frameworks, workshops, and committee briefings are delivered via secure video conference and structured written outputs, culminating in a clear handover to internal officers.
